The Zulal Areni Classic 2020 is a true gem among Armenian wines. This aromatic red wine reveals vibrant notes of red cherries, plums, and a hint of pepper. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with refreshing acidity and concentrated berry and spice flavors, offering a balanced and lively experience.

We’ve always appreciated Zulal Areni, but the latest vintages have particularly impressed us. These wines are truly the rising stars of Armenian winemaking.

Founded in 2017 by winemaker Aimee Keushguerian, Zulal Winery is located in the Vayots Dzor region, encompassing the villages of Aghavnadzor, Rind, and the Arpa Valley. The vineyards, at an altitude of 1400 meters, thrive in limestone and volcanic soils, contributing to the wine’s distinctive character.
