A Family’s journey to the birthplace wine

The Armenian diaspora took the Eurnekian family to Argentina; Karas Wines is a result of that dispersion in reverse. A project to renew our traditions while sustainably contributing to the region.

Eduardo and his niece Juliana Del Aguila Eurnekian co-own Bodega Del Fin Del Mundo, in Neuquén, Argentina, and have been making wine for more than a decade in Patagonia, a place known for its extremes.

Together, they set up Karas in Armavir, whose volcanic soil produces a singular expression. Juliana has turned her hand as a vintner for many years with one of the world’s finest wine-making mentors: Michel Rolland.

Together, they embarked on this special project that has innovation and the environment at its heart, and will create bridges between Armenia and the rest of the world.
